I am JitterBones, and I have made music and sound effects for Alex’s games in the past and am working on more stuff for him currently. I will blog here occasionally about the work I am doing for Squid Pixel, post links to music and sound design I am working on, and probably talk about game music in general a lot (because it’s AWESOME).
I am also doing a bit of design myself for an upcoming possible Squid Pixel game. I am not going to say anything about this game yet, other than that it is a game, and has the potential to be great. Currently, we are working on a fantastic game called Gridnet. I am making sounds and music for Gridnet, which is a shoot’m-up type game with a really cool twist (it’s not the grid). I am making a sweet electronica soundtrack to match the feel of Gridnet, and a lot of my time is going into just writing the music.
If you want to check out some of my work and my own personal site, visit www.jitterbones.com. There isn’t much there, but I’ve got some of my work up on there. I am looking forward to working with Alex in the future and other developers as well. I love meeting and talking to indie developers – they/you are the future of gaming!
Check back soon.
